Senior Home Automation Integrator

Job Summary:
We seek a skilled and experienced Home Automation / Home Cinema Integrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining home automation systems, ensuring they meet client needs and function seamlessly. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a passion for smart home technology.
Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and design customized home automation solutions. Create detailed plans and schematics for system installations using relevant software such as CAD.
Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and integrate various smart home devices and systems, including lighting control, HVAC, audio/video distribution, security systems, and network infrastructure etc.
Programming and Testing: Program and test automation systems to ensure they operate correctly and meet client specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation.
Client Training and Support: Provide training to clients on how to use their new systems. Offer ongoing technical support and maintenance to ensure long-term satisfaction and system functionality.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades as necessary.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Continuously update knowledge of the latest home automation technologies and trends. Attend training sessions, trade shows, and other industry events as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not compulsory (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology).
Industry Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma from CEDIA, HAA, CePro, or similar institutions will give you an advantage.
Valid Passport for International Traveling purposes will be an advantage.
Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in home automation, AV integration, Home Cinema or a related field. Proven track record of successful project implementations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in installing and configuring smart home devices and systems (e.g., ELAN, Crestron, Savant, Control4, KNX etc).
Strong understanding of networking principles and experience with network setup and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with programming languages and software used in automation systems.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CEDIA, ELAN, Crestron, Savant, Control4, KNX etc) are highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs.
- Physical ability to perform installation tasks, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.

As a Salesman at Cinema Architects, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions from our premium range of audio, home automation, and home cinema products. You will work closely with clients, designers, architects and installers to ensure seamless integration of our systems into their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and builders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized solutions from our product range.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the high-end audio, home automation, and home cinema markets.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate installation and setup of systems.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in high-end audio, home automation, or home cinema.
- Strong knowledge of audio systems, home automation technologies, and home cinema setups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical information to non-technical clients.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in using CRM software such as D Tools.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
- Valid Passport for International Traveling purposes will be an advantage.
- Candidates are expected to uphold a high standard of personal grooming and presentation in the workplace.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
- Familiarity with high-end audio and home automation brands and similar high-end product lines.
- Technical background or certification in audio/video systems or home automation.
